This total home remodel was done on the upper story of an older Kalaheo home. This 2nd story includes 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, full kitchen, and living room.

Before construction started, our HIP Team helped the older resident pack and move all of her personal belongings out of the home. We then started by replacing the roof and painting the exterior to update its curb appeal. For both bedrooms, we kept it simple and added to the single walls with drywall and paint. Updated the entire home with new vinyl jalousie windows, doors, and flooring. The bathroom was renovated with a gorgeous tile shower, new vanity, and toilet. We changed the layout of the kitchen and added an island bar countertop that looks out to large open windows and front lanai. After finishing the kitchen, we updated all cabinets, countertops, and appliances. Last but not least, we opened the living room and kitchen by taking down the dividing wall and added larger windows to bring in more of the cool island breeze and natural sunlight.
